hat is how “al Canale”’s history starts, a history based on a great passion for the Sicilian culinary tradition; This adventure started in 1982 in Mirabella Imbaccari, in the exactly so-called neighbourhood “al Canale”, when Giovanni and Nunziatina Rasà with determination and courage commenced their artisan production of Sicilian sweet and salty delicacie .
Today the son Tommaso and the daughter Elga together with her husband Daniele, continue the family business with the same passion, mixing tradition and innovation, offering excellent products to all types of palates, even the most demanding.

by the use of completely natural and accurately selected ingredients, without any food preservation and color additive. Only needed quantities, favoring so “quality” against quantity, are realized every day in the artisan shop.

Besides traditional classic salty and sweet delicacies “al Canale” proposes also a gluten free and/or vegan line, like almond pastries, different praline varieties, chocolate candies and arancini (rice balls) and hot snacks with the aim to be open towards different needs, culture and philosophies but without renouncing the authentic Sicilian taste.
